Tips on how to de-stress at home

We're  all victims of stress , either you're working , studying or busy and trying to finish some tasks or reach a certain goal , you usually tend to feel stressed most of the time which is completely normal .
but stressing out and overthinking all the time can have many bad effects on your mental health and physical health too and can really effect your mood and turn good vibes to negative ones .

But before i start with the tips , let's answer this question first : What is stress ?

According to Psychology Today  " Stress generally refers to two things: the psychological perception of pressure, on the one hand, and the body's response to it, on the other, which involves multiple systems, from metabolism to muscles to memory."
Which means , stress can actually control our thoughts and our decision making .
being stressed all the time can make us anxious , look and feel exhausted and it can make us feel really confused and less confident .
So here are some tips and tricks that i personally do to de-stress :

1. Make it a weekly routine :
Choose your de-stress day , for exemple for me , sunday is my de-stress day . #sundayfunday #lazysunday
Sometimes i can be really  busy on sunday but i try to chill and relax as much as i can .

2. Breakfast in bed : 
Make yourself a nice special breakfast , spoil yourself !!
I usually look for some new breakfast ideas on pinterest and have fun while preparing it .
Now have your breakfast in bed watch some netflix and enjoy . Bon Appétit !!

3. A hot bath :
Now i know this is an obvious one and you already knew this , but a nice hot bath can really help you de-stress , relax and feel so relieved . add a bath bomb into the water and some bubbles if you want , it'll make you feel like you're in a Spa .

4.Candles :
lighting a sented candle can make you feel really relaxed and peaceful .
you'll be in a great mood .

5.Read a book :
Put that sented candle near your bed , close your rooms door , grab a book that you want to finish reading or start reading and read it ! there is nothing more peaceful than reading a book in a quiet place .

6.Watch travel vlogs :
Now i don't know why , but watching travel vlogs on youtube really entertains me and makes me feel like i'm in great mood ! you might wanna try it , it really works !

7.Tea :
A cup of tea is crucial when it comes to de-stressing . it can really make you feel so relaxed .

8.Take care of yourself :
and with that i mean : do your nails ,try some home made remedies for your hair and skin , drink water ....

9.Cats : 
Now i know you may or may not have a cat , but cats are great stress relievers .

When you spend time with a cat, your production of serotonin, a chemical that boosts feelings of well-being, goes up, and your cortisol levels go down. 10.Watch a Comdey movie :
laughing is another way to de-stress , it'll help you get rid of the negative energie and will change your mood instantly <3 
A little advice : when you feel stressed , take a deep breath , inhale and exhale slowly and know that every problem has a solution and that overthinking and stressing out is gonna make your thoughts negative and you're gonna create more problems in your mind that do not exist , be solution oriented and don't let stress control you , so take it easy , relax , be confident  , stay focused and you will achieve whatever that you want to achieve.
